I need to talk to someone who manages the server where my email resides but the People at AT&T claim that they do not have that information.

So here is the issue, when I log into my webmail my inbox is empty, However, where in says "Inbox" there is a (!) right next to it which indicates that I have one email which I don't see anywhere. After going a few rounds like this I finally got through to AT&T and they connected to my machine remotely and determined that my Outlook settings were correct. So when the error says to contact my ISP I naturally contacted Frontier who then said that I need to contact AT&T which I did and they referred me back to Frontier. Let me explain further that I live in CT and 5 years ago took over all the AT&T accounts and AT&T have pretty much washed their hands clean of anything to do with their old customers other than resetting passwords. OK, so I contacted the people at AT&T and even though they have tried they have not been close to resolving the issue other than determining that all of my Outlook settings are correct and admitted that the issue is on the server end. Contact your POP3 or Internet service provider. The number of messages returned by the STAT command does not match the number of items returned by the UIDL or LIST commands. I keep receiving the same error, which is: " Task - Receiving' reported error (0x80042110) : 'Your POP3 server is providing inconsistent information. I was told that if I cleaned out my inbox on the webmail client that might solve the problem however I have done that and the problem still exists. I can send email just fine but incoming email just stays on the webmail client.
